FBR Updates Mobile Application for Filing of Income Tax Return by Salaried Individuals

The mobile application for filing of income tax, Tax Asaan, has been updated for the tax year 2020. This application is available free of cost for both IOS and Android.

Tax Asaan is a mobile application developed by FBR to facilitate taxpayers. Wizard-based Income Tax Return filing option is also available in the Iris portal. This feature will help the taxpayer to go on step by step, utilizing interactive questions for return filing. Currently, Tax Asaan offers following facilities for taxpayer:

1. Registration of Income Tax
2. Registration of Sales Tax
3. Return filing for Salaried Individuals
4. Recovery of Password
5. Creation of Tax payments, PSIDs
6. POS Invoice Verification
7. FBR Maloomat

The FBR also stated that the last date for filing income tax return is September 30, 2020.
