Sept 02, 2020: Letter of Understanding Signed between FBR and FDE to Promote Tax Culture

In compliance with the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the promotion of taxation system in the country and with due guidance from Chairman FBR, a signing ceremony of Letter of Understanding (LoU) between Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) was held on Wednesday, 02 September 7, 2020, in Ministry of federal Education and Professional Training. LoU is aimed at promoting tax culture and tax awareness in all the educational institutions of Federal Directorate of Education. It shall serve to foster positive tax culture and tax awareness among students and teachers through activities, skills and experiential learning in order to make them responsible citizens of Pakistan. The training sessions will inculcate in the students, the paramount importance of paying taxes and how to detect tax evasion. The letter of Understanding was signed by Director General Federal Directorate of Education, Zia Batool and Chief FATE of FBR, Aisha Farooq.
